Peace Education

The theme and concept of peace, explicitly or implicitly, runs throughout Dr. Montessori's entire work and philosophy. She recognized education as the only path and the cornerstone to achieve it. This true advocacy for peace is what made her a candidate for the Nobel Peace Prize in her time. Maria Montessori invites us to build a science of peace, with work centered on childhood, that helps us educate people in harmony.
